Due to unfavorable tidal conditions between Langdale (Sunshine Coast) and Horseshoe Bay (Vancouver), some buses, RV’s, low bed vehicles and other vehicles (with very low ground clearance or extended overhangs on the rear axle) may not be able to load the following sailings tonight or tomorrow:

10:30 pm departing Langdale
Tuesday, July 9, 2024:
6:20 am departing Langdale
7:05 am departing Langdale
8:40 am departing Langdale
9:30 am departing Langdale

Tides that are below 8 feet or higher than 10 feet change the angle the ferry approaches the loading ramp, and during these times, some vehicles are likely to get stuck on the ramp.
To reduce the risk of damage to vehicles, vessels and the environment, crew may ask some vehicles to return to board at a time when tides allow them to load on the vessel safely.
