Berth 2 Life Extension
Langdale (Sunshine Coast) Terminal
February 10 to May 31, 2025
As part of our ongoing commitment to ensure the safe operation of our terminal facilities, we started carrying out marine construction activities to Berth 2 at the Langdale terminal. The project began on February 10 and is expected to continue until the end of May.
Construction is planned Monday to Saturday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. A minor portion of the work must be completed during low tides outside regular working hours. Noise levels around the terminal may be more noticeable than normal, and our teams will work to minimize the impact for both our customers and neighbours.
As part of this planned work, on April 14 and 15, a barge will be stationed just east of the waiting room. Divers will be present in the water along with crews working around the terminal. Customers may also notice a temporary colour change in the water as a result of an environmentally friendly dye that is used to aid in quality control. This dye is not harmful to the environment.
We do not expect any impacts to terminal operations and will continue to update this Service Notice should there be any changes to this scheduled project.
