Notice of Project Work
Thetis Island Terminal
October to November 2024
We are pleased to share that the overnight work at our Preedy Harbour terminal has been completed ahead of schedule. The final regularly scheduled Chemainus to Thetis Island (Preedy Harbour) sailing has been reinstated, with no further planned cancellations for the duration of the project.
The regular schedule for this route is available here.
Work on this project continues and is expected to be completed by the end of November. To ensure timely completion and to minimize impacts to service, night work will be required and is expected to take place between 10:00 pm and 5:30 am starting November 18. Nearby neighbours may notice an increase in sound levels during this time; however, our teams will make every effort to minimize noise disruptions.
Drivers and customers are asked to follow the direction of staff and signage, and are encouraged to arrive at the terminal early for their desired sailing.
We thank our customers and neighbours for their patience and understanding as we complete this necessary work.
