Service notice - Sailing Delay

Our 7:40 pm sailing from Port McNeill to Alert Bay (Cormorant Island) departed 27 minutes behind schedule due to the crew taking time to get extra vehicles loaded where possible given today’s heavy volume of traffic. While we always aim to load vehicles as safely and efficiently as possible, higher-than-usual terminal traffic requires us to take extra time loading to ensure that every available space on board is maximized. A “max-load” takes a bit more time, but allows us to accommodate as many passengers as possible on busy days.

We expect the 8:25 pm departing Alert Bay, the 9:00 pm departing Sointula (Malcolm Island), and the 9:30 pm departing Port McNeill to also be delayed.
