Service notice - Sailing Delay

Our 3:15 pm sailing from Tsawwassen (Vancouver) to Duke Point (Nanaimo) departed 33 minutes behind schedule due to the crew taking extra time to load as many vehicles as possible given today’s heavy volume of traffic. While we always aim to load vehicles as safely and efficiently as possible, higher-than-usual terminal traffic requires us to take extra time loading to ensure that every available space on board is maximized. A “max-load” takes a bit more time, but allows us to accommodate as many passengers as possible on busy days.
If you have a reservation on an upcoming sailing today, please arrive during the check-in window noted in your booking confirmation email to maintain your reserved status. This ensures we can stage your vehicle at the terminal ahead of standby customers and those reserved on later sailings.
We know you have important places to be and apologize for any inconvenience you may experience as a result of this sailing delay.
