Due to forecasted high winds for the Strait of Georgia and North Vancouver Island, service on multiple routes may be affected on Wednesday, December 25, 2024.
The safety of our passengers and crew is of primary importance to us. We are continuing to monitor this weather system and will share information as it becomes available.
BC Ferries’ Customer Service Centre hours for the holiday:
- December 24 – 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
- December 25 – 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
- December 31 – 7:00 am to 7:00 pm

To ensure the safety of our customers and crew, all sailings between Tsawwassen (Vancouver) and the Southern Gulf Islands are at risk of being cancelled for tomorrow, Wednesday, December 25, as a result of Environment Canada’s severe weather forecast for high winds and waves in the Strait of Georgia and North Vancouver Island.
We know you have important places to be. We will monitor the weather conditions and will share updates with you as further information becomes available.
