Temporary Vessel Replacement
Swartz Bay – Southern Gulf Islands
October 15 – December 7, 2024
The Salish Heron will provide service on our Swartz Bay (Victoria) – Southern Gulf Islands route from October 15 to December 7, 2024 while the Queen of Cumberland provides service on one of our other routes to assist with a scheduled vessel refit.
Passenger amenities on board the Salish Heron include: a Coastal Café, Passages Gift Shop, comfortable lounge seating with panoramic views, spacious outdoor seating on an open sundeck, pet area, elevators, and an upper and lower vehicle car deck.
Customers should be aware that the lower vehicle deck on the Salish Heron is a closed vehicle deck and Transport Canada regulations require all passengers to vacate closed vehicle decks during sailings.
We do not anticipate any impact to operations as a result of this temporary vessel replacement and thank the community and our customers in advance for your patience during our vessel refit season.
