We are actively following a rapidly intensifying storm that is expected to reach parts of British Columbia’s West Coast by Tuesday, November 19, 2024. The adverse weather conditions may impact travel through till Wednesday, November 20.

Travellers are advised to check our Service Notices page prior to travel for any possible service disruptions.

Stop Malcolm Island (Sointula)

Alert Bay terminal is located on Cormorant Island, a short ferry ride from Port McNeil on the north coast of Vancouver Island. Sailings from Alert Bay provide service to Port McNeil and Malcolm Island (Sointula).

Boarding is based on order of arrival at the terminal. Check-in closes:

  • 5 minutes prior to the scheduled sailing for foot passengers and vehicles

Stop Malcolm Island (Sointula)

Port McNeill terminal is located on the northeast coast of Vancouver Island. Sailings departing from Port McNeill provide service to Cormorant Island (Alert Bay) and Malcolm Island (Sointula).

Boarding is based on order of arrival at the terminal. Check-in and ticket sales close five minutes prior to the scheduled sailing for foot passengers and vehicles.
