<h2>NORTHERN BC RESIDENT PROGRAM</h2><p><span>British Columbia Ferry Service Inc. (BC Ferries) Resident Rate provides a discount for residents of Haida Gwaii and Mid-Coast ports who have a permanent address in these areas. To receive the discount rate, you must provide proof that you are a resident of Haida Gwaii, Klemtu, Bella Bella, Ocean Falls or Shearwater. Government-approved picture ID with current address is required (i.e. a Driver's License). If the government-approved picture ID does not have a current address in one of these areas, a current utility bill will be accepted (i.e. hydro, telephone, gas or other utilities). </span></p><p><span><br></span></p><p><span>The Resident Rate Confirmed (RRC) status will be attached to your BC Ferries Confirmation file entitling you to travel with the discounted rate without having to show your residency ID every time you travel</p>
