Venture into the waves off Vancouver Island's northern coastal sea on a 3.5-hour tour to see some of BC's most iconic mammals of sea otters, orcas, whales, and sea lions that all call these untamed waters home. Return to the shores for a nights stay at the Kwa'lilas Hotel in Port Hardy. Nestled at the edge of Vancouver Island's rugged forest, the Kwa'lilas Hotel is modelled after indigenous longhouse's and built from local cedar.

DAY 1

Metro Vancouver to Port Hardy

Depart from the Horseshoe Bay terminal and sail across the Strait of Georgia taking in the breathtaking ocean views. Once you arrive in Nanaimo, explore Campbell River for the day before checking into the Comfort Inn & Suites overlooking the waterfront.

DAY 2

Port Hardy

Travel up the winding roads in northern Vancouver Island as you make your way for a two night stay at the Kwa'lilas Hotel in Port Hardy. Stop at San Josef Bay in Cape Scott Provincial Park and relax on the white sandy beaches.

DAY 3

Port Hardy

Embark on a 3.5-hour guided Coastal Rainforest Safaris Wildlife & Whale-Watching tour, and journey through the traditional waters of the Kwakwaka'wakw people in search for coastal wildlife. Afterwards, unwind in your suite at the Kwa'lilas Hotel filled will a collection of local Indigenous art and culture.

DAY 4

Parksville

As you depart from Port Hardy, stop at the beautiful Provincial Parks along the way as you make your way to the quaint community of Parksville. Once you arrive, checked-in for the night and relax in your luxurious room at the Beach Club Resort.

Vancouver Island to Metro Vancouver

Conclude your adventurous excursion departing from Nanaimo and sail across the Strait of Georgia to Metro Vancouver.
